Our growth plan includes development and extension of our current technologies into civil aircraft applications. A vacancy has arisen for a Operations Support Electronics Engineer. This position is to provide Electronics support to QDAC investigations.Desirable skills and knowledge:

  • Initial assessment of failures at unit level:
  • Define initial diagnostic tests
  • Perform initial diagnostic tests using production equipment
  • Supervise & direct production technicians & authorised junior engineers to perform initial diagnostic tests using production equipment
  • Detailed failure investigation at circuit & component level:
  • Circuit & signal analysis - theoretical
  • Circuit & signal analysis - practical
  • Fault finding from first principles
  • Product knowledge:
  • Develop knowledge & understanding of electronic design of main silicon product lines (in particular 02/G02/20, 06/07, RAM)
  • Develop knowledge & understanding of electronic design of avionics / legacy product lines
  • Root cause investigation:
  • Participation iaw defined RRCA processes
  • Feeding findings back into the design process
  • Develop ability to lead investigations
  • Soft skills development & process understanding:
  • Business systems eg DCR, CMS, QNR
  • Quality Clinic processes, Customer Returns processes
