Job Description

In 2011, Reed and The Royal Mail Group established Angard Staffing, dedicated recruitment partner for Royal Mail. We supply flexible staffing solutions to meet Royal Mails demands throughout the year, offering workers a mix of short and varied assignmentsacross the whole of the UK which can be chosen to fit around other commitments.The RoleWorking with the central office, who source and attract top talent, the Onsite Team will manage the day-to-day engagement between our candidates and our client and strive to create a high-performing work environment.Ensuring all activities are maximised, the Onsite Team will manage workforce planning and rostering of employees, through monitoring attrition, attendance, and punctuality.The role will consist of generating candidate pipeline in the city through attending recruitment events, working with JCP, visiting the university, working with welfare to work, arranging briefing meetings with prospective candidates at candidate surgerieson site at RMG.Managing the end-to-end recruitment life cycle, from candidate attraction to onboarding.Providing accurate reporting and presenting relevant information, to management and other required stakeholders.

  • Salary:up to 26,000 pro rota

Key Responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Flexibility to meet the client needs
  • Resourcing requests, acting quickly in response to ad hoc/asap requests
  • Immediate response to no showscreating a more reliable working pool
  • Successful and timely management of payroll queriesminimising the need for Royal Mail involvement
  • Distribution of key communications, ensuring any requests are adhered to by workers
  • Attend meetings to support the needs of Royal Mail
  • Hands-on engagement of workers and Royal Mail management
  • Ability to engage workers to fulfil overtime hours
  • Identify and mitigate risks to fulfilment ahead of time
  • Onsite resolution of worker identification card issues
  • Engagement and deployment of MSP agencies
  • Provision of key information to Royal Mail at short notice
  • Management of recruitment drives during the peak period
  • Ownership of start and end of shift processes
