Techniche Global are supporting an engineering defence contractor to appoint a Senior Safety Engineer. You will support in the provision of Nuclear and Radiological knowledge, providing technical advice on Nuclear Safety Assessment processes and policy.You will ensure compliance with statutory legislation and the terms of the Site Licence, the delivery of Nuclear Safety Cases and Licencing Plans and the development and implementation of Nuclear Safety processes and standards. This project presents an opportunityto get involved in the development on a new Safety Case.Rate: £65p/hr UMBLocation: Hybrid, reporting site is DevonportDuration: 12 months+Requirements: Due to the security clearance requirements, only sole British nationals can be considered for this.Key requirements:* Youll be educated to Degree level in an Engineering or Scientific discipline and/or have relevant knowledge and experience; a background in nuclear/radiological safety is highly beneficial for the roles we are looking to fill.* Youll be registered as a Chartered Engineer (or be working towards chartered status).* Youll also possess good interpersonal skills and be competent in verbal and written communication, with the ability to operate and interface effectively with Senior Managers and internal stakeholders.* For this role we are looking for specific experience in Deterministic Safety Analysis to support this area of Safety Case development.
