Job Description

Night-shift Materials Handler required for a large manufacturer based on the outskirts of the city. This is a permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 22:00 - 06:00.

    • As a Materials Handler, you will carry out goods movements from point of entry into the factory, around the factory including to and from stores, machine shop and production lines, and loading onto vehicles to enable transportation to end customer.Duties will include:
  • FLT Driving
  • Load and prep and checking
  • Load and unload vehicles
  • Issue parts to machine shop and production line
  • Store products in relevant locations
  • Pack parts in accordance with packing instructions
  • Labelling products
  • Unpack and decant products
  • Allocate products to sales orders
  • Execute required SAP transactions for booking in, picking, packing and standard stock movements
  • Work within company safety policy and procedures
  • Pick kits or parts according to work order or pick list
  • Prepare seal kits and other spare parts for shipment prior to packing, in line with agreed processes.
    • Candidates will need to have experience of working as a materials handler along with a valid FLT licence and be happy to work night shifts on a permanent basis.
