An exciting opportunity to join a world leading company on a permanent basis as a Materials Handler in the Saltash area has arisen.A Materials Handler carries out goods movements from point of entry into the factory, around the factory including to and from stores, machine shop and production lines and loads onto vehicles to enable transportation to end customer, in accordance with company Health & Safety and quality procedures and in line with the companys values and behaviours.Company Requirements* Load and unload vehicles in accordance with company procedure* Load preparation and checking* Pick kits or parts according to work order or pick list* Issue parts to machine shop and production in line with the Plan* Put product away in relevant stores or warehouse location* Pack parts in accordance with packing instructions, including sub contract* Prepare seal kits and other spare parts for shipment prior to packing, inline with agreed processes* Labelling of product* Unpack and decant product* Enable replenishment process of lineside and Kanban stock* Allocate product to sales orders* Collect defect product from factory and process RTS* Execute required SAP transactions for; booking in, picking, packing andstandard stock movements* Execute WMS transactions* Daily 5s* General forklift truck driving* Required to attend relevant job training as organised by Logistics TeamLeaders and / or training department e.g. manual handling, forklift truckEssential * Counterbalance FLT licence * Previous experience in a warehousing role* Reach FLT licence desirable * Able to work well in a team PPT licence* Good basic verbal and numeracy* Competent basic SAP user* Proactive and willing to learnThis is a permanent position, working 10.00pom - 6am, Monday to Friday Acorn Recruitment acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment.
