KPM has been accredited with the Investors In People Award and a Platinum Award from the Business Health Network.The Master Scheduler is responsible for running the top-level Sales and Operations Planning (S & OP) process and for giving the business full line of site of demand through an effectively integrated plan.Main duties include: Work closely with the production planners to enable a smooth planning process, providing support and direction to the finite planning function.Deliver the Sales and Operations Planning (S & OP) process in order to set the capacity of the business based on demand, highlighting production capacity and material supply constraints and developing scenarios for senior stakeholder review and prioritisation.Use planning and data analysis skills to provide insight into the quality of master data in SAP and how to maintain and improve it. Be a "go to" person for planning expertise and SAP use.Support the order acknowledgement process and provide confirmation dates based on material and capacity availability.Maintain MRP to ensure the correct demand is in SAP to drive material ordering processes.Management of phase in / phase out.Stock management of manufactured materials.Provide "what if" scenario planning to the business when presented with production capacity and / or material supply constraints and coordinate activities with the relevant departments to implement resolutions.Person Specification:Degree educated - Preferably directly linked to the role discipline.Proven experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment (knowledge of NPI and phase in / phase out processes).Strong knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systemMust be able to effectively work across organisational boundaries and influence all levels to deliver on customer commitments and Business needs. Key attribute, maintain and develop effective relationships with all stakeholders.Ability to manage the requirement of others not directly supervised.Must be able to integrate data and intuition to identify potential issues, root cause and eliminate.An effective listener and possess the capability to succinctly make issues/problems transparent. Must respond proactively rather than reactively in all aspects of work.Must be able to effectively set and change priorities. Excel knowledge using formulae, pivot tables and macros.Strong analytical capabilities, with a strong understanding of statistical analysis techniques.Works in a committed and focused way.
