Job Description

The Planet Group have recently been engaged by a market leading Aerospace company that manufacture control/navigation products for surface and air applications in the aerospace and defence markets.We are currently seeking a Marketing Consultant to join the team in Plymouth on an initial 6-month contract.Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Help grow and develop existing social media presence through channel specific campaigns - including video-based campaigns.
  • Support the maintenance of new company website, with a focus on user experience and SEO.
  • Support and maintain pay per click advertisement.
  • Interface with external PR consultant and provide support to all PR activities.
  • Support preparation of marketing material for trade shows.
  • Identify new opportunities for marketing.
  • Support analysis of digital marketing performance against select competitors.
  • Liaise with staff in the U.K., Japan and the US
  • Work closely with Sales and Supply Chain functions to enable seamless delivery of marketing services.
  • Increase brand awareness.
Candidate requirements:
  • The ideal candidate must have experience of creating rich media content, with a focus on video-based campaigns.
  • Digital marketing (including social media, Google Analytics and digital advertisements)
  • Website support (which may include content generation and/or design)
  • International marketing campaigns (including trade shows, PR, advertisements, branding etc)
  • Marketing high technology products.
  • Experience within one or more of the following market sectors would be desirable: Aerospace, Space, Defence, Robotics, Marine, Unmanned Vehicles.
