Job Description

Maintenance SurveyorContract Opportunity via BRCJobs: Maintenance Surveyor Location: Devon (Hybrid Working) Sector: Property and Housing Contract: 4 Months + Hourly: £23 PAYE, £26 Umbrella BRC are working with a Reputable Housing Association who are based in Devon to recruit an experienced Maintenance Surveyor who will be supporting them with delivering a repairs and voids service to their tenantsMain Responsibilities:

  1. To support in the delivery of responsive maintenance services, component replacement works, void refurbishments, cyclical decorations and some statutory landlord compliance
  2. Provide resolutions and project management in respect of complex repairs and issues relating to the housing associations properties
  3. Carry out property inspections, for structural defects and general reactive repairs and disrepair cases
  4. Undertake site visits in order to monitor works
  5. Support void refurbishment work completing pre and post inspections of properties and raising void work orders to ensure the property is available to let according to the void re-let timetable
  6. Carry out Mutual Exchange inspections to provide status report on the property condition, raising work orders when necessary
  7. Undertake neighbourhood inspections to ensure safety and standards are being met
  8. Ensure that all complaints are dealt with and answer any queries from customers, delivering a high quality customer service
Job Requirements
  • Driver with access to own vehicle
  • Experience in a similar role providing repairs & Maintenance Services
  • Educated to HND.HNC Level or equivalent (Desirable)
