Job Description

Pertemps are lookingfor a Human Resources Business Partner to join a large and growingfood manufacturingcompany based in the South West.Our client are offering an attractive salary of up to £40,000 a year, the role would be suited to someone experienced in Senior Human Resources roles looking for the next development in theircareer or an existing Human Resources Business Partner looking fora new role. Our client providesa great place to work, by ensuring our values of Entrepreneurship, Excellence and Care are at the heart of everything we do.Te Human Resources BusinessPartner will be responsible for partnering with the assigned business areas and playing a lead role with business leaders and managers to build their people capability and deliver an excellent HR business partnering service acrossthe business. This role requires an in depth understanding of the business to enable you to work closely with internal stakeholders to develop the peopleagenda that aligns to, and supports, the overall strategic business objectives. You will also work in partnership acrossthe HR & L&D function to deliver a high quality, proactive and customer focused service as well as being a champion and enabler for change. Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide a proactive, outcome orientated HR business partnering service to managers by providing pragmatic advice, guidance and solutions.
  • Enable managers to manage on all aspects of HR work including but not limited to recruitment, absence, disciplinary, grievance, capability and performance, providing support as necessary whilst determining and mitigating business risk.
  • Partner with OH and Health Assured on all medical related issues.
  • Ensue monthly accurate KPI metrics are presented to your business leaders, enabling them to understand impact and drive improvements.
  • Ensure regular meetings are held with business leaders and key actions driven to enhance people performance across the business.
  • Be seen as a champion and enabler of change providing high level expertise in organisational design and advise on how to shape business change programs including restructuring and redundancy.
  • In partnership with business leaders ensure delivery of timely performance reviews and talent mapping data for your business areas, including driving key actions to ensure there is a pipeline of future leaders that are being developed and retained.
  • Work closely with the team to monitor, review and update all people policies in line with current legislation and best practice.
  • Attend well beingand employee forum meetings, driving actions and ensuring your business areas are kept up to date on initiatives.
  • Champion and drive engagement action plans for your business areas
  • Lead on delivery of a range of HR project work by undertaking research, organising, planning, and other tasks as required.

Qualifications and skills
  • A strong HR generalist with extensive experience (5 years or more) working in a senior HR Management role. Will be familiar with the employee life cycle and will have good knowledge of current UK employment law and will ideally be a member of the CIPD andwill be qualified to CIPD (level 5 or above) – ideally qualified to level 7.
  • Demonstrable experience of partnering with business leaders
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Extensive and demonstrable experience in complex employee relations case management
  • Experience of HR information systems, data management and reporting. A positive and confident member of the HR team who understands the wider impact of their contribution on other parts of the business.
