Job Description

Home Manager vacancy - PlymouthRef: CW20623Howard Finley Care are currently recruiting for a Home Manager to join our clients fantastic team in the Plymouth area. This role is within a 40 bed Residential Home which provides person centred care to the elderly, those with dementia and similar conditions.The home is also CQC compliant, with a "GOOD" CQC rating in their latest report. The hiring team are searching for an experienced and dedicated leader with relevant Care Home experience.Home Manager vacancy details:

  • Up to £45,000 P/A
  • 10% bonus potential
  • Full-time, permanent contract
Home Manager experience and qualifications:
  • NVQ level 4/5 in Health and Social care/ working towards
  • Previous experience within Care Home Management
  • Experience working with the elderly/ those with dementia
  • Experience overseeing a large staffing team
  • Experience with CQC inspections and sound knowledge of the CQC guidelines
Home Manager main duties:
  • Overall management of the care home
  • Budgeting/ financing for the care home
  • Recruitment and training of new staff
  • Staff appraisals and disciplinaries
  • Work alongside the CQC and local authorities
