Pertemps are looking for experienced HGV Drivers to carry out duties on behalf of Plymouth City Council. Please be aware, we would expect the season to start around early March 2023.We are expecting the requirements to be full time, temporary ongoing positions for the season with an hourly rate of £13.41 per hour.Standard hours of work are 06.30-16.15pm (37hrs) Monday to Thursday from a central plymouth location and it is essential you would be able to commit to this.The work will be within Plymouth City Councils Waste department, driving a Refuse vehicle.The ideal candidate will hold a full CPC Licence and Digi tacho, have demonstrable experience of driving HGV vehicles and have a flexible outlook to work.You will also have strong communication skills and be able to ensure the highest standards of service to all customers.You will be responsible for driving support across the Plymouth area, working over four days a week.The main depot is a great central location, with on-site parking, a canteen and shower facilities.If you have the above experience and are looking for a new and exciting challenge, then this could be the post for you!All suitable applicants will be required to attend a mandatory induction session & driving assessment where if successful a start date will then be provided.Please apply now to be considered.
