Job Description

Health & Safety Assessor/Technician (Construction)£27,000 to £30,000+ annual bonus + excellent training & progression + 22 days holiday + pensionPlymouthAre you from a Health & Safety background looking to further your career within a £300m turnover PE backed business offering the chance to develop your career through excellent training and development opportunitiesAre you a Health & Safety professional who wants to work for an organisation that supports its staff and is set to double in size over the next 2 yearsOn offer is an assessors role where you will be dealing with customers by telephone and email. You will undertake assessments of companies management systems to ensure they meet the requirement of the SSIP Core criteria.Theres the scope to be the Team lead for the division, ensuring assessments are allocated to team personal, in relation to their ability, current assessment workload and current number of referred assessments. You will ensure specific product service level agreements are maintained and ensure that capacity/team capability issues are brought to the attention of the Technical Services Director in a steadfast manner.Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring assessments are serviced based on membership priority
  • Liaising with the Technical Services Director on any issues arising.
  • Liaising with other department managers on queries
  • Input into the development of the new product opportunities.
  • Provide assistance into the development of internal processes
The person
  • Health & Safety experience preferably Construction
  • NEBOSH General Certificate
