Job Description

Head of Strategic Procurement£63,000 + Progression + BenefitsPlymouth, Devon Are you a Procurement Manager or similar looking to be a recognised expert within a rapidly developing £12million company whilst you head up a team of specialists in a varied and autonomous leadership role Are you looking to join a renowned housing development company, where you will be leading a team of 15 procurement experts whilst having the option for hybrid working In this varied role, you will be the go-to expert for procurement needs within a well-established company, with over 600 employees. You will play an integral part in ensuring value for money across the companies purchasing needs, overseeing new projects aswell as the companys commercial stores and building on client and supplier relationships. This company are leading the way with social housing developments with over 15,000 properties including commercial stores. With a focus on providing value for money and looking after their residents, they are looking to the future making this a great time toget on board. This role would suit a Procurement Manager who is looking to step into an autonomous role within a rapidly growing company whilst overseeing a team of procurement specialists. The Role:

  • Ensure value for money across company purchasing
  • Overseeing company commercial stores
  • Building strategic development
  • 10am - 3pm, Monday - Friday with 3 days working from home
The Person:
  • Public sector procurement regulations knowledge
  • MCIPS qualified
