GRADUATE TEACHING ASSISTANTS NEEDEDEXETER & PLYMOUTH£75 TO £85 PER DAYAre you a Psychology and/or Education graduate seeking a role in SEN schools An individual interested in gaining a deeper perspective into how children think and develop Reed Education are currently recruiting for Special Educational NeedsTeaching Assistants (SEN TA) with a desire and passion to work in an extremely rewarding environment! We are roles available in Plymouth & Exeter.The suitable applicants will ideally have:An hons degree or equivalent in an Educational based Psychology discipline.The willingness to succeed, working in a school setting.A high level of interest assisting in regular care work.Experience in assisting people with SEND (paid or unpaid)A valid enhanced DBS OR WILLING TO APPLY UPON REGISTRATION.Versatility/open-mindfulness - as no two days are the same!Your role will include: Supporting students 1:1 and in small groups within classroom settings and/or the communityLearning about the individual childs developmental, cognitive, social, individual differences and performing correct methods to assist.Applying your knowledge gained through your degree.Providing care and enabling access to learning for all pupilsCarrying out pupils support programmesManaging the children and the classroomPersonal and advanced care with some studentsThrough working with Reed Education, you will be making a significant contribution to the lives of young people in Education Settings in your community!
