Job Description

DK Recruitment are partnering with a dynamic organisation, based in Plymouth, in their hiring of a new Financial Accountant.   • Maintain the Fixed Asset Register ensuring accuracy of records
  • Oversee bank control and recording, including reconciliation and reporting
  • Support month-end financial accounts control routines and reconciliations
  • Aid in preparation of statutory accounts for the parent company and subsidiaries
  • Liaise with External Auditors for audit requirements, particularly related to Fixed Assets
  • Train team members on processes and procedures as needed
  • Contribute to service improvement projects and initiatives
  • Provide cover for team members as required
About You
  • CIMA/ACCA/ACA part-qualified or AAT qualified with relevant experience
  • Substantial experience in accountancy environment including preparation of statutory accounts and control accounts
  • Proficiency in computerised financial management systems
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and meet deadlines
  • Willingness to undertake training and development opportunities
