Job Description

We are a leading Mechanical, Electrical & Building Fabric Maintenance provider and are actively seeking 2 x Fabric Technicians to support the delivery of hard service maintenance contract at the Devonport Dockyard in Plymouth.We are looking for Fabric Technicians with a background in building service maintenance to join us on site.The Engineers will be responsible for undertaking reactive & planned maintenance works across an estate ensuring it is maintained at all times to current standards & legislation.ResponsibilitiesYou will:

  • Ensure work is undertaken in line with specific method statements & risk assessments and relevant safety legislation and NG Bailey health and safety systems and procedures.
  • Provide excellent service delivery by ensuring PPM tasks and reactive works are completed within contractual Service Level Agreements to meet KPIs.
  • Maintain premises to an exceptionally high standards through a proactive service delivery methodology
  • Develop excellent working relationships with our client their staff or appointed representative through good customer service.
  • Ensure that all applicable site documentation is kept up to date as this will be regularly audit either by internal or external parties.
RequirementsYou will have:
  • City and Guilds from a Trade or equivalent
  • Practical experience carrying out Fabric related PPMs in-line with industry standard or equivalent with wide ranging skills in Reactive and Repair work.
  • Capable of undertaking Reactive Repairs and Small Projects with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in preparation of surfaces & selection of paints/ mixes to match specified finishes and colours.
  • Previous experience working as a Fabric Person on Commercial/ Industrial facilities .
