Job Description

Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Project EngineerPlymouth/HybridPermanentSalary NegotiableDK Recruitment are looking for a competent EC&I Project Engineer to join their client’s team on a permanent basis in the Plymouth area.As the EC&I PE it will be your responsibility to lead several EC&I Engineering tasks associated with projects or engineering works at multiple Depots at any one time. You will be overseeing professional contract engineers or consultant companies and it isimportant that you gain creditability and are capable of building and maintaining strong working relationships with all internal/external stakeholders.Qualifications RequiredCandidates will ideally be degree qualified combined with relevant experience in Electrical or Control & Instrumentation, preferably within a COMAH regulated industry/operation although other professional qualifications may be considered.Responsibilities

  • Be a key contributor to the Maintenance Engineering Team to support the team to meet business and team objectives.
  • Ensure activities completed are fully compliant with company policies, procedures and legal requirements.
  • Function as a professional reviewer for all Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Standards.
  • Plan and manage the programme of works for Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Engineering tasks associated with Engineering or Project Work delivery.
  • Adhere to procedures relating to the proper use and care of assets, equipment and materials.
  • To be a key contributor in the planning budget forecasts for submission to the Leadership Team for approval.
  • Provide budget proposals following the financial management in the Project process for Project spends and work collaboratively with Finance/ Line manager.
