.NET Developer - PlymouthPermanent vacancy - 37 hours per weekSalary: £45,000 - £50,000 + company benefits DOE***Candidates must be able to gain SC clearance***General Description of Job:Develop and maintain bespoke applicationsManagement of the transition of applications into the production environment. Ensure all changes are tested, documented and version controlledWorking with the Central IT function for the creation and management of application environmentsSupport the development and management of applications, and configuration of the relevant installations, to ensure continuous serviceAdherence to process and procedures to ensure document configuration management, modification management, build management, version controls, and gate review documentationProvide 3rd line support for developed applications. Resolution of issues to a permanent fix to agreed SLAs.Perform code and documentation reviews and publish applications into the appropriate environment Provide SME input to ensure applications are optimised and monitored for availability, capacity and performanceOperate as part of SCRUM teamMajor Activities / Accountabilities: Assist in maintaining the product backlogEnsure the controlled configuration of applicationsFollow processes and best practice to ensure configuration and development of solutions are testable and traceable.Identify new ways to exploit functionality in applications in accordance with the application roadmapEnsure any changes are agreed with the stakeholder community and align with the IT strategyProvide consistent application and systems documentation through all of the application lifecycleKey Technical Skills / Experience:Experience of developing Microsoft .Net applications:C#, .Net Framework, .Net CoreWeb Technologies; ASP.Net MVC, Web API, BootstrapSingle Page Application (SPA) Frameworks; Angular, React, KnockoutJSKey Frameworks; Entity FrameworkScripting; Javascript, Power Shell, T-SQLQueuing/Streaming technologies; RabbitMQ, Kafka, MSMQDesktop Frameworks; WinForms, WPFFamiliarity with source control systems; e.g. Azure DevOps, TFS, JiraWorking knowledge of Databases; e.g. Microsoft SQL Server, OracleFamiliarity with integration technologies; e.g. Biztalk, NetWeaver, SSISKnowledge of Identity and Federation frameworks; e.g, Identity Server, AzureAD, ADFSFamiliar with high availability environments, systems and technologiesUnderstanding the alignment between technical applications and business requirements / needsExperience of working with an application suite covering both in-house (developed) and COTs products---Fusion People are committed to promoting equal opportunities to people regardless of age, gender, religion, belief, race, sexuality or disability.
