Job Description

Job Title: Customer Services Officer - Reception CentreLocation: Devonport, PlymouthCompensation: £26,680.00 + BenefitsRole Type: Full time / PermanentRole ID: SF54724At Babcock were working to create a safe and secure world, together, and if you join us, you can play your part as a Site Customer Services Officer at our Devonport Royal Dockyard site.The roleAs a Site Customer Services Officer, youll have a role thats out of the ordinary where youll ensure that Babcock is effective in supporting and delivering a professional secure and efficiently run reception centre for the Devonport site.Day to day, youll be in charge of the staff dealing with front-of-house / customer service at the Reception Centre:

  • Create rotas for customer services staff
  • Involved deeply in the training plan to make sure there is adequate training
  • Responsible for the counter service task management and service delivery for all reception centres in line with the MoD reception centre contractual obligations.
  • Review and identify improvements in processes with a view to continually improve bringing in efficiencies and effective outputs that are value for money.
  • Strive to meet the contractual KPIs, providing the detail in a timely manner to the Team Leader.
This role is full time 36 hours Mon-Thurs: 09.45 - 18.00 and Fri: 12.00 - 18.00 and will be based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard.Essential experience of the Site Customer Services Officer:
  • Customer service experience
Qualifications for the Site Customer Services Officer:
  • GCSE English & Maths minimum Grades A-C (Also known as Grades 4-9 in the new grading scheme)
  • Completed or willing to complete NVQ 3 Administration
  • Preferably hold the following DISA qualifications or be willing to complete them; i) Security Vetting Procedures ii) Document / Information Security & International Visits & Contract Security
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.Our Benefits
