Job Description

Contracts ManagerPlymouthA market leading property maintenance company are looking for a Contracts Manager to join their team on a permanent basis due to pipeline of works. This well-established companys portfolio include refurbishments, reactive maintenance and painting to a varietyof sectors including social housing, MOD, new builds and local authorities. The purpose of the position is to supervise running of contracts on site to ensure work is completed on time, to required quality and cost effectively.Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily running of contracts to complete work to quality, time and cost constraints
  • Ensure Health and Safety policies, procedures, safe working practices and risk assessments are effectively communicated to all site staff and contractors
  • Mobilise allocated projects
  • Understand and manage programme of works
  • Manage site administration and records
  • Liaise with and manage labour, site staff, sub-contractors and supply chain
Requirements:
  • Experience of NEC/JCT Contracts
  • A proven track record to show experience in a similar role managing contracts, managing teams, contributing to business plans and profit and loss reporting
  • Experience of managing clients and contract KPIs to a consistently high level
  • Sound knowledge of current HSE legislation
  • Construction related tickets
  • Relevant UK driving licence
