22.5 hours per week – permanent.An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent post as a Band 5 Nurse to work across Livewell Southwest and the Well Being Hubs. We are pleased to offer the flexibility of permanent weekend shifts if desired. The Wellbeing Club has been recognised nationally for its model of care and was shortlisted for an HSJ award.The successful candidates will work closely with the Specialist Service Lead Nurse, Community Team Manager and Community Sisters within the wellbeing team. You will also work in collaboration with other allied health care professionals to provide a seamless service for service users.This is a clinical role and the successful applicant will need to demonstrate a special interest in Tissue Viability and Lower Limb management.There is likelihood to exert moderate physical effort for several long periods during a shift, e.g. bandaging and diagnostics which require nurses to kneel, adopt a benign position and lifting of limbs or buckets of water to wash patient’s feet and legs (up to 40 minutes per leg); this involves manual handling of equipment.You will be required to work in a variety of clinic setting across the Livewell footprint. Including Plymouth and the South Hams.The post holder will have excellent communication skills to enable a collaborative workforce with Primary Care and Third Sector.There will be opportunities to attend Tissue Viability Conferences and study days. This will be part of your professional development. The post offers opportunity to engage in research projects, evaluations and implementation of new initiatives within the arena of Tissue Viability and Lower Limb Management.You will be supported to develop and deliver education and training to service users and their family/carers as part of a holistic approach to lower limb care."please note that this role may not be eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route, please refer to the Direct Gov website for more information with regards to eligibilty"Livewell Southwest values its staff and makes investment in their development a priority.
