Civils GangerPlymouth area, with projects across Devon & CornwallUp to £17.50 per hour (45 hour week + OT) + PAYE + Standby Payments + Regular overtime opportunities + Van + Training + Progression + BenefitsA Fantastic opportunity awaits a civils professional who is interested in joining a well-established, market-leading Civil Engineering company. Bolstered by the acquisition of several lucrative contracts, theyare now in search of Civils Gangers to join their expanding reactive team.In this role you will undertake various elements of Civils works within sewer and water projects, duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Leading a gang, providing support and mentorship to operatives and other team members
  • Ensuring seamless execution and timely completion of projects
  • Carrying out both manual and machine-assisted excavations
  • Ensuring sites are compliant with H&S and street works requirements
This role would therefore ideally suit a civils professional who is looking to work on high profile utility projects. The successful candidate will have the desire to develop their skills and positively impact company culture.The Role:
  • Civils Ganger - leading a team
  • Great earning potential through overtime opportunities
  • Travelling to various sites across Devon and Cornwall
The Person:
  • Experience in Civils, sewers/water projects
  • Some relevant site based qualifications (e.g. CSCS, SSSTS, NRSWA etc.)
  • Clean UK Driving license
