Job Description

We are looking for a confident and professional strong administrator, with excellent attention to detail to assist with the important and critical administration work of the Plymouth Register Office, based in Derriford, Plymouth.This is a six-month assignment, working full time between Monday and Friday, with the possibility of an occasional Saturday when required. You will receive weekly pay at a rate of £10.19 per hour.A fast-paced customer facing administration role, working closely with a variety of professional organisations and public services, to support the registering of births, marriages and deaths within Plymouth.You will have:

  • Experience of working in a public sector or large organisation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Empathy and an ability to detach due to sensitivity of information and interactions
  • Excellent and adaptable IT skills
  • Prioritisation skills
  • Precise and speedy keyboard skills for producing time-critical documentation
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
