Are you a passionate and inspiring individual looking to change the lives of children through their journey in educationIf so, Reed Education would love to hear from you!We are recruiting for a talented teaching assistant to join a local Plymouth secondary school from January 2024until the end of the school year to support children that are deaf.The school is easily accessed by public transport and car drivers alike, with staff parking available too.The successful applicant will be an adaptable support worker, capable of changing up how they work to best suit the needs of the students they are working with, delivering thought provoking educational support across the course of the students learningin the academic year.Key strategies will involve a good understanding of behaviour management, patience, empathy, and a willingness to go the extra mile for the students.No formal qualification is mandatory, however previous experience within SEN, SEMH, or classroom based learning is advised for this role.The pay will be £400 to £450 per week, scheduled for Monday to Friday hours during term time.This is a rewarding opportunity for someone to take a step into a career that brings the best out of children this coming academic year.If you think this is the right role for you then please click APPLY NOW to send through your most up to date CV so a member of the Plymouth branch can get in touch.
