Your Company:A fantastic opportunity has become available within a rapidly growing financial services business who are looking to hire an Audit Manager for their Plymouth office. The team pride themselves on supporting a wide variety of businesses across many industries with financial and accountingwork, maintaining great client relationships going forwards.Your Roles and Responsibilities:While in this role your duties will include but are not limited to:* Managing a portfolio of clients and maintaining a strong professional relationship with them* Overseeing the day to day management of the team and ensuring that all work in completed within the deadlines set and to a high standard* Taking a lead role in the completion of audits* Completing audit and compliance work for the clients* Identify financial, commercial and tax planning opportunities and communicate these effectively to the clients* Proactively establish business opportunities for the team and the business and promote the firm and its services to potential and existing clients* Working with Partners on new client work* Additional duties as and when required required by the businessWhat you will need to Apply:To be considered for this role, you must be ACA or ACCA qualified and will have extensive experience working within an accountancy and audit environment, preferably managing a portfolio of clients to handle audit duties. The ideal candidate will also have agood knowledge of accounts preparation and tax compliance and will be familiar with accounts and tax software and Microsoft Office. Due to the nature of this role the ideal candidate would pride themselves on being diligent and have a good eye for detail,as well as being organised, self motivated and be able to work effectively either independently or as part of a team.
