Job Description

Assistant Support Worker - HomelessnessLOCATION: PlymouthHOURS: shifts - early & latesSALARY: £11.76 PAYE/£12.84 UMBRELLADURATION: 3 months+ -Temp to perm availableSTART DATE: ASAPOur client, a national support provider is looking for support staff that are looking to further their career within complex needs servicesKey Responsibilities & Duties

  • Assist the support worker to manage their caseload within a 60-bed homeless hostel.
  • Empower the service users to engage with their community i.e. attend appointments
  • Advocate on behalf of the service users to ensure their needs are being met.
  • Assist with room and property checks in line with tenancy agreements.
  • Support and guidance on how to manage finances through strategies such as budget plans.
