Job Description

Our client are a top 50 Accountancy practice in the UK and they arenow looking for an innovative Digital Accounting Senior to join them on a permanent basis in their Plymouth office. They key focus for this role will be to work within their digital servicesteam, encouraging the use of cloud and digital technologies with our clients. Qualified, qualified by experience or trainees for either AAT Level 3 or ACA will all be considered for the position.Main DutiesThe main duties (but not limited to) are the following: -

  • Champion the use of digital tools to provide both compliance and advisory services to clientsincluding Dext, Fathom, Syft Analytics and various other sector specific tools
  • Preparing of management information and management reportingto including forecasts and cash flows
  • Preparing financial statements and tax returns for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders up to the audit threshold
  • Leveraging digital tools to support the delivery of bookkeeping services and quarterly VAT returns
  • Supporting the delivery of digital services including digital health checks and efficiency reviews
  • Working as part of the digital services team supporting the delivery of app research and recommendation engagements based upon the Xero app ecosystem
  • Comply with internal policies and procedures, ethical standards and regulatory requirements

  • Trainees for either AAT or ACA. AAT qualified or qualified by experience. (ACA/ACCA part qualified also considered)
  • Previous experience in accounts preparation for limited companies and unincorporated businesses.
  • Good working knowledge of general IT Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Social Media programmes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven accuracy and an eye for detail
  • Ability to present information effectively and concisely in emails and documents
  • Good general education, including English and Maths at GCSE Grade C or equivalent
