Job Description

Pertemps have a fantastic opportunity for an Account Handler to join a trusted and well established specialist insurance broker, located in Yelverton.This is a permanent, full time position - 37.5 hours per week. The hours will vary from 9:30am - 6:00pm and 10:30 - 7:00pmIn return, they offer good career prospects and an excellent 12 weeks training & development package. Monday - Friday initially but Saturdays may be included in the future.As the Insurance Account Handler, working within the Household team, you will be required to:

  • Successfully deal with new business enquiries and insurance renewals and provide a first class service to clients by fulfilling their insurance requirements.
  • Handle day to day queries from clients and act as point of contact and build and maintain relationships with clients, insurers and other staff within the
  • Work as part of an effective team, helping to develop less experienced team members whenever
  • Liaise with colleagues to share information about the current insurance marketplace, and to assist them with any insurance
  • Comply with service standards at all times, to ensure the best service is provided to clients.
  • Provide insurers and underwriters with accurate information to ensure they can assess each risk
Thesuccessfulcandidate will have previous Household Insurance experience, dealing with new and existing business clients.
