Job Description

Quinton Davies is working for an innovative and rapidly growing IT company based in Plymouth.As 2nd Line IT Support Engineer, you will become part of team responsible for multiple clients IT requirements across the region.This is a great opportunity for an experienced IT engineer to join a supportive and friendly team to progress and develop. There will be a wide range of field work, going between various client sites, meaning that each day is varied and no two days the same.In this role as 2nd Line IT Support Engineer you will be:

  • Providing clients with 2nd Line Technical Support
  • Researching and deploying infrastructure improvements
  • Completing technical tasks as part of clients IT projects
  • Assisting and supporting 1st and 3rd Line Engineers
    • To apply for this role, you will have experience of:
  • Microsoft Server Environments - 2016/2019
  • Microsoft Desktop Environments - 8/10
  • Microsoft Office 365
  • Virtualisation Technologies - HyperV/VMware
  • Network Troubleshooting - DNS/DHCP/VPN/NAT
  • Network Diagnostics - Routers/Switches
    • You should also:
  • Have a minimum of two years of working on a support desk or in an IT role.
  • Have a full driving licence.
  • Be able to work to and hit agreed upon SLAs.
  • Be comfortable in assisting less experienced colleagues.
