NEW TO THE AREA!My client, recently moved into the Sandiacre area, are recruiting for a Accounts Assistant to join there excellent accounts team. The major duties are as follows:Role responsibilities Posting of customer receipts and supplier payments on to Sage, keeping ledgers tidy clearing over and under payments and resolving payment queries Assist with the issuing of sales invoices Good accounts payable experience accurately processing purchase invoices and identifying invoices for assets, prepayment and accrual, keeping suppliers paid within their timescales Confident to contact customers with larger balances and work to agree payment timescales with them Able to resolve customer and supplier queries received by phone/email Issuing customer statementsSkills and experience Would suit someone studied up to AAT level 2 or with 2+ years experience within an accounts environment Experience with Sage essential, experience with Opera preferred but not essential Organised with strong attention to accuracy Confident to handle requesting funds from customers and able to resolve any queries they have Good Excel knowledgeIf this sounds like you and you would like to apply, please follow the steps outlined including your up to date copy of your CV.
