Due to our recent awarded long term contracts, we have exciting opportunities for a Quantity Surveyor & Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This is a permanent position based from our head office in Pinner, Middlesex.As our Quantity Surveyor / Assistant you will ensure that all commercial and contractual aspects are carried out in accordance with the contract, company policies and procedures, and to the satisfaction of the customer to successfully deliver the projects.Why you should join our familyWe are a well-established contracting business that over the past 48 years has provided highways services to a number of challenging and complex networks. Working for both public and private sector clients, we understand what it takes to meet the challengesof the modern road network.Responsibilities of our Quantity Surveyor / Assistant.Control of sub contract accountsMeasuring of sub-contract workProcessing sub contract applicationsPreparation of final accountsQuantification and evaluation of variationsPreparation of contract budgets and cash flowAttend site meetingsGeneral contract administrationUndertake cost value analysis for all aspects of project works, carried out under one or more contractsPreparation of monthly valuationsLiaise with managers on claims issuesUndertake jobs and responsibilities in a professional and business-like mannerHonour client and business confidentialitiesWhat we are looking for in our Quantity SurveyorWe want passionate and dedicated individuals with previous experience working in the highway maintenance or construction industry. Commercial communication skills would be highly beneficial and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
