Job Description

You will manage and control the accurate collection of data, analysis, reporting of the key manufacturing labour and material measures to enable prompt decision making on a daily basis to manage costs. You will need to work with members of the Operations, Technical, Engineering, IT, Finance & Supply Chain teams.

  • Manage and maintain the Marco LCM,YCM systems on behalf of Operations – acting as the site contact for IT, Engineering & Technical.
  • Manage the Labour & Waste Production Performance Management reporting at site level.
  • Manage the Direct Labour Planning process at site level.
  • Manage other Labour Efficiency ‘Dashboards’.
  • Interrogate Labour Variance and MUV data to support root cause analysis and enable prioritisation of improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with the site Supply Chain team to ensure site production planned rates and capacity can be reviewed against actual run rates as part of the S&OP process.
  • Monitor and review team capability, ensuring any direct reporting staff are clearly focussed on their key objectives and are developed to maximise their potential.

We produce coleslaw, potato salad, salad bar bulk products (2kg), pasta salads and couscous/grains for some of the biggest retailers in the UK including Morrisons, Co-op, Asda, Aldi, Lidl, Sainsbury’s, KFC, Nando’s, Pizza Hut and Costco. Our Spalding site has a restaurant with hot food available to all our colleagues. What we’re looking for
  • Ability to analyse, report and interpret data.
  • Advanced computer literacy and ability to learn new systems.
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Numerate.
  • Previous data analysis experience.
  • Previous experience of Marco systems preferable (but not essential)
  • Ability to form good working relationships across Site and Group functions
  • Strong presentation skills.
