Job Description

Key OperativeWe are recruiting for Key Operatives in the Spalding area. Working for a recruitment agency on a market leading FMCG food production site.As a Key Operative you will need to:

  • Be proactive
  • Be able to motivate the team
  • Be accurate and reliable
  • Speak intermediate level of English language
    • Immediate starts available. Training will be provided.Details:
  • 06:00 - 18:00 (Sunday to Tuesday and every other Wednesday), £10.07 per hour, overtime £12.59 per hour
    • Overtime available.
  • Location: Pinchbeck, Spalding
  • Duration: Ongoing
    • Role of a Key Operative:
  • Deliver line productivity and efficiency targets. Resolving issues/problems when they arise. Produce quality products in line with the agreed attribute/production plan.
  • Continually monitor the mixed product, line processes and environment (around the line). Ensure that all processes comply with good GMP and food safety standards.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of the line machinery/equipment. Highlight any issues that could result in downtime. Ensure line machinery/equipment performance is consistent & reliable.
  • Promote good health & safety/environmental culture on and around your line. Ensure that it complies with procedure (GMP), investigations/corrective actions for raised issues. Promote a safe working environment.
  • Review line running speeds (operational trends) to identify and act on opportunities to make improvements to increase quality, performance or profit in support of the line/shift area plan.
  • Monitor and review team capability (identify training needs). Ensure that all staff are focused on their key objectives and are developed to their potential.
