Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Travel Consultant to join our expanding family run travel company. Our speciality lies with bespoke multi centre holidays to Croatia, Slovenia and Montenegro. We offer a wide range of holiday types and awe-inspiring destinationsand tailor these around their needs, providing expert knowledge and trusted advice. Providing fantastic customer service is central to our company’s ethos as demonstrated by our superb reviews.Please note this role is maternity cover however due to the expanding nature of the company we are hopeful that this role will become permanent.Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer enquiries and client queries through email, telephone and live chat
  • Research various destinations and means of travel regarding prices, client need’s, reviews, in order to create and sell bespoke travel itineraries
  • Build excellent customer relationships in order to organise the perfect tailor made holiday for each client
  • Book all aspects of clients travel requirements, including flights, arranging accommodation, transfers as well as taking customer payments
  • Complete any necessary paperwork and update computer records accordingly
  • Prepare and provide clients with their travel documentation for their upcoming holiday
  • General administration duties will also be required at times as well as any other tasks deemed suitable to the role
  • Reach the revenue and profit targets
What you will need
  • Recent experience in the travel industry required (1 year min.)
  • Excellent customer service skills & telephone manner
  • Confident, hard-working, professional, enthusiastic and organised
  • To have a passion for travel
  • The ability to work productively as a remote/work from home employee
  • Work well within our small team
  • Have a keen eye for detail
  • Good knowledge or previous travel to Croatia (desired but not required)
