Job Description

Manufacturing Group based on the outskirts of Petersfield has an opportunity for an experienced Financial Accountant to undertake a newly created position which has arisen as a result of an internal promotion.What will the role involveReporting to the Financial Controller, the key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the production of the monthly and annual financial statements including ensuring all balance sheet reconciliations are completed on time;
  • Ownership for the cash management for the business through daily posting of cash, production of daily cash balance and weekly and monthly cash forecasts;
  • Preparation of Group VAT return;
  • Support the Financial Controller in the production of the annual budget and Year End Audit files.
Suitable Candidate:
  • Applicants will be either part or fully qualified with experience of undertaking a similar position;
  • Must be comfortable being hands-on and maintaining the ledgers in addition to working at a high level when required.
Additional benefits and information:
  • The role will be offered on a hybrid working basis with the successful candidate expected to be in the office 3 days a week.
