Job Description

Commercial Property Solicitor 3 years PQE+Petersfield, Hampshire Salary DOEA well-established Kent law firm are seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor to join their office in Petersfield. The firm have great presence in the Kent and surrounding area and have an excellent reputation.A 3-year PQE + Solicitor will be considered for this role and the successful Commercial Property Solicitor will work alongside experts in the field managing a mixed caseload.Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a mixed caseload of freehold purchase and sale of commercial and business premises, site acquisitions, disposals and development, retail, leisure, factory office and residential, leases & renewals, portfolio management and property investments, property finance and rent reviews
  • Drafting and negotiating contracts for sale, transfers, leases and agreements for lease, licences, guarantees and legal charges
  • Attending to clients of the firm which could include a wide range of buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants, developers and funders
  • Dealing with complex property matters
  • Compliance with the firms routine time recording, accounts and administrative disciplines
  • Active involvement in business development
    • Qualifications:
  • A good honours degree followed by LPC, training contract and PSC / or a good honours degree with CILEX to Fellow level, LPC and PSC and admitted by SRA as a solicitor
  • Commercial property exposure gained at a reputable firm
  • Candidates must be a qualified solicitor or an experienced legal executive
