Supplier Quality Engineer- Peterlee- ContractAre you an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer Do you have experience on dealing with suppliers quality issues Are you looking for a new challenge working for a world-renowned manufacturerOur client who are a world-renowned manufacturer of off highway machinery and engines have an exciting opportunity for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join the team on a contract basis to ensure manufacturing operations can continue without a detrimental effect to the process from a quality perspective.You will report directly to the Supplier Quality Manager being responsible for managing suppliers and their quality issues relating to Product Production, Pre- Service and Warranty issues.Using site-based reporting systems (the likes of ISIRs and POU documentation) you will communicate with suppliers advising them of supplier corrective actions to ensure the customer is confident in their Corrective Action Plans.Having no direct reports, you must show strong leadership qualities and experience of dealing with suppliers ensuring that they agree to and deliver Containment Action and facilitate Program Timing and Final Corrective Action in accordance with the 8D processes.Managing suppliers will be a pivotal part of the role ensuring you establish containment plans related to quality discrepancies ensuring operations are able to continue with minimum disruption.If youre Degree qualified, experienced at dealing with suppliers and understand assembly manufacturing processes this could be the role for you!The client are looking to pay £25 p/h PAYE or up to £30 p/h LTD Company.
