ABOUT THE ROLEFor a qualified nurse with a passion for the field of neurology, this role offers the opportunity for wide-ranging development. Working as part of a nurse-led team, youll provide exceptional care for those suffering from both traumatic and non-traumaticbrain or spinal injuries, as well as support for those with long-term neurological conditions. Youll be a lynch pin in the team, making a huge difference to our patients quality of life. As well as developing skills in tracheotomy and ventilation youll deliver a range of treatments for those with spinal and acquired braininjuries. Its a rare opportunity to join a high dependency unit providing complex neurological and respiratory care as well as rehabilitation.ABOUT YOUYoull be equipped with a current NMC registration, RN (Mental Health) and evidence of continued professional development and a mentor or supervision qualification. Ideally, youll also have some experience with either neurological or respiratory conditions,but for those who share our passion for helping patients and their family and friends through a challenging time, and providing exceptional clinical care in this fascinating field, training could be provided.
