Our client has a strong reputation throughout the renewables sector supplying various products andservices to both commercial and domestic markets. The business focuses on delivering innovative and bespoke products to solar pv, heat pump, air conditioning, wall insulation and battery storage markets.The organisation currently has an annual turnover in excess of £5M, but within the next 12-18 months, is on course to achieve a £10M turnover. The company has a high growth mentality and they are seeking a motivated, knowledgeable and ambitious Project Managerfrom within the renewable sector, to help materialise the organisations ambitions. This is truly an exciting time to be joining the business.THE ROLEEffectively taking ownership of projects and deliveryOrganising installations and deploying resourcesEstimating projects within the renewables sector focusing on solar pv and heat pumps - drawing up assessments of how much it will cost to provide clients or potential clients with the companys products and servicesResearching materials, equipment and labour costsGathering quotes from sub-contractors and suppliersWorking as a commercial entity within the business - helping to secure work and win businessAssessing project risk and undertaking feasibility studies within projectsEnsuring that projects and supplied quotes are carried out with accuracy - ensuring projects are delivered to time scalesFormulating and checking quotes for company tendersOrganising contracts and ensuring work is delivered in accordance to set delivery briefsHelping to secure long-term business relationshipsAttending site visits with new clients, building relationships and ensuring a high-quality customer focused serviceTHE PERSON2 years minimum Project Management experience within the Solar/Heat pump sectorPrevious experience working within the commercial sector preferred to domesticKnowledgeable and well contacted within the wider supply chainCommercial focused, able to work with accurate quotes and drive new businessAbility to develop pre-existing relationships and help secure new businessA dynamic, hungry and ambitious individualAble to travel to client sites (minimal travel)THE PACKAGEThis is a permanent contract from day one.The hours of work are 8am-5pm (40-hour week)Salary is circa £45K depending on experience. 22 days holiday plus stat, mileage allowance and free on-site parkingTO APPLYPlease send your updated CV and our Engineering Consultants will reach out to you.
