Job Description

Job DescriptionOur client based in Peterlee are looking for a Production Associate to work on their busy production line.Duties

  • Producing high quality products according to company standards and JWIs.
  • Working on various workstations along an assembly process.
  • Operate production line equipment.
  • Assemble goods on a production line.
  • Affixes labels, company logos, and other exterior details to products.
  • Carry out basic testing and quality checks.
  • Build up components and sub-assemblies into finished electrical or mechanical products.
  • Cleaning and basic maintenance of work areas and machinery.
  • Report on defective products or machinery.
  • Ensures all production, planned manufacturing deadlines and efficiency targets are achieved.
  • Adherence to health and safety rules and regulations and handling of materials in the factory.
  • Any other reasonable instruction.
Required knowledge, skills or experience
  • Soldering experience (desirable)
  • Spot welding experience (desirable)
  • Ultra-sonic welding experience (desirable)
  • Being able to follow job work instructions
  • Ability to work in fast paced production environment
  • Able to work as part of a team and independently
  • Punctual
  • Knowledge and understanding of 5S
  • Able to work to within tight cycles/deadlines and with minimum supervision
Additional InformationLocation: PeterleeHours of work:
  • Rotational shifts:
  • 6:00am - 2:00pm
  • 2:00pm - 10:00pm
Rates of pay:
  • £10.42 increasing to £10.77 after 12 weeks service
