MTrec’s New Opportunity;Due to recent growth and investment, MTrec’s prestigious manufacturing client are currently planning a new and exciting expansion to their business. Because of this, they are looking to recruit new and motivated Litho Printers to help them keep moving forward.You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, operating machinery and equipment to ensure that the company’s products are manufactured to the highest standard. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced production environment,while it also offers exciting opportunities for growth and progression through the ranks. You may be a printer with any background, though ideally you will have experience with a 5/6 colour press.   • To produce printed sheets to the job specification supplied
  • To ensure the quality of every job, including attaining ISO 12647 standards
  • To follow the quality standards as described in our ISO 9001 procedures for Printing (QSP 08)
  • To complete all paperwork associated with the job and the quality procedure
  • To ensure a high level of Health and Safety is maintained on the machine at all times
  • To complete any routine cleaning and maintenance of the press (maintenance is supported by our internal team)
  • To complete all hours as detailed in the shift pattern supplied and to provide holiday cover for other team members
  • All work carried out and any waste created must be moved or disposed in adherence with our environmental standard ISO 14001
  • Hours & Shifts: 3-week rotation working 3 x 12 hours days for 2 weeks followed by 4 x 12 hours nights for 1 week. Shifts start at 7am or 7pm.
About You;
  • Recent experience of running a print machine
  • Excellent colour knowledge and be able to identify poor print
  • Experience of using colour management software and printing to ISO 12647 standards
  • A commitment to undertake the BPIF Qualification
  • Experience of running a Heidelberg press would be beneficial
  • Experience of working within ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 practices
  • Calm, approachable and professional manner
  • Ability to be flexible and understanding (of the print industry demands)
  • Show consideration and respect to all colleagues
  • Excellent time keeping
  • Exceptional attention to detail
