The CompanyOur client is a specialist manufacturing company. Due to investment, they are now looking to recruit a Maintenance Manager.The Role

Provide Leadership for the Maintenance Team across business.
Create and drive the maintenance road map via strategic planning to ensure departmental objectives are achieved.
Responsible for the maintenance and improvement of production equipment / areas, managing contractors and ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to.
The role has budgetary responsibility for the department and requires identification and execution of cost reduction activities including contractual reviews.
Lead problem solving and fault-finding activities including root cause analysis with the emphasis on reducing equipment breakdowns.
Support department hands on as and when required due to workload, holiday, absence etc.
Overall responsibility for management of Technician Team including appraisals, monthly 1:1’s and admin duties such as holidays, training, call out cover etc.

The Person

Must be a time served engineer with management experience in manufacturing or engineering environment.
Hold in Mechanical or Electrical.
Will have H and S qualification.
Leadership qualification (preferred).
Experience of maintenance planning.
Proven Leadership / Management experience
Experience in a high-quality focused environment.
Experience of Lean tools and methodologies.
