An established manufacturing company that is currently undergoing significant investment and growth is looking to recruit a maintenance manager.An excellent opportunity to join a global organisation and where you will be have autonomy to develop the maintenance team and overall maintenance function.CompanyPart of a global manufacturing company that is currently benefiting from investment into their North East manufacturing facility.ResponsibilitiesEnsure the facilities, layout and machinery that is being used to produce new and existing products run to their maximum efficiency and output through the course of all operational shifts and identify improvements.Manage, coach and develop the maintenance team to meet maintenance objectives and schedules.Develop Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule and ensuring full preventative maintenance is carried out, identifying root cause to maintain OEEDriving continuous improvementBudget control / Cost SavingsManage contractors on site to ensure they meet legal (H&S) and company requirements.Manage critical spares availabilityExperienceExperience in working a similar role within a fast paced manufacturing environment.Time served maintenance (mechanical or electrical) or equivalent experience/educationExperience with lean manufacturing methodologies/processesExcellent communication (verbal & written)Coaching, and leadership skills in a team-based environmentFinancial management & reportingSalary/Benefits£50,000 - £60,000 per annum10% bonus6% pension contributionx4 life insurancePrivate health plan
