Job Description

Our client is looking to recruit Embroidery Assistant to work on an ongoing basis at their in Peterlee.Main Duties:

  • To embroider logos onto to workwear clothing.
  • Finish off threads iron and repack ensuring quality of the garment and embroidery.
  • Some shortening of sleeves or trousers may also be required.
    • The Ideal Candidate:
  • Must have at least 2 years’ experience in same role
  • Able to use the computer to run the embroidery machines selecting pantones and correct logo’s, also able to add customer names if/when required.
  • Basic maintenance on the machines eg. oiling as and when prompted. To position logos and ensure correct placing on garments.
  • Able to work under own initiative as very little training available, working on priority of orders as instructed by Sales Manager and willing to work overtime/weekends if required.
    • Shifts:
  • Mon - Fri (Overtime when Required)
  • 8:30am - 5:00pm Temporary to (possible permanent for the right candidate)
  • 28 days holiday (includes 8 Bank Holidays)
