Job Description

Central Employment are looking to recruit a Customer Account Executive, joining an established and industry leading provider of bespoke of Hospitality products. They are trusted partner to a number of high-profile customers both in the UK.They have a new opportunity for a Customer Service specialist, to report into the onsite Customer Service Manager at their Operational site in County Durham.The Role of the Customer Account Executive:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers via telephone and email
  • Process customer orders and queries.
  • You will also need to have excellent communications skills as you will be dealing with customers at all levels of organisation size and sophistication. The role involves processing a lot of detailed information and each project will be different, so youwill need to be adaptable and capable of retaining knowledge.
  • You must be proficient at the use of systems and be able to use Microsoft Office programs.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Customer Services Account Manager:
  • Respond to incoming contacts from customers via telephone, website and email
  • Maintain and further develop relationships with existing customers
  • Accurately determine the order needs of customers
  • Liaise with other departments including Accounts, Purchasing and Warehouse in relation to satisfying Customer Orders and handling queries
  • Work with external Sales staff to help process their quotations, orders and queries
  • Undertake products training as and when required
  • Process information via our computerised order processing and accounts system
  • Create presentation documents in relation to orders/quotations using Microsoft Office programs
  • Maintain accurate records of contact, project requirements and customer requirements
Skills and Knowledge Required of the Customer Services Account Manager:
  • High Level of organisational skills and an ability to prioritise workload
  • Poses a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar field, ideally within the FMCG sector
  • Passionate about always delivering excellent customer service
  • Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and report writing
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Proven track record of working towards KPIs and targets
