Cleaner Part Time

Job Description

Our client, based in Peterlee, has a requirement for a team of Part Time Cleaners to work in a local school to add additional cleaning support. The role of Cleaner will involve sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and buffing of classrooms, offices, bathrooms and all communal areas. Experience of working in a similar role and operating Buffers would be highly desirable.The successful candidates will work Monday to Friday 3.30pm - 6/6.30pm.This assignment will be long term ongoing.Main Duties* To create and maintain a quality standard to the agreed specification within set time limits within a specific area.* Health & Safety Purpose: To take a direct interest in the health and safety of yourself and others who may be affected by your work activities.* Ensure that all areas are cleaned to the highest possible standard at all times.* Adhere to company policies at all times.* Maintain health and safety standards.* Ensure personal appearance, including uniform, are of the highest standard at all times in line with company policy.* Undertake any reasonable task as requested by the site manager or supervisorHealth & Safety * Participate in any communication activities through formal and informal channels on safety matters to ensure that there is a free flow of ideas.* Ensure that the companys safety image is reflected positively through your actions * Ensure that you have received the necessary training so that you can competently carry out your duties and responsibilities. * Acknowledge and accept a personal responsibility for safety.* Take responsibility for reviewing the safe system of work prior to the commencement of the work activity.* Take responsibility for ensuring that plant and equipment is maintained and fit for purpose. * Raise any concerns over Health & Safety breaches in accordance with Company Procedure.* Be actively involved with any site CSR activities which promote the company around the school and local community.* To report any signs of pest infestation to your supervisor.Objectives* To maintain your personal hygiene within acceptable standards* To ensure you observe and abide by all local rules and policies relevant to the site where you work.* You must report to your supervisor if for any reason you cannot complete the service.* To perform any other duties which may be reasonably required by your line manager or the company* Maintain full compliance with ISO 9002 requirements for which you have a responsibility.* To actively be involved with Health & Safety on and around the site and bring issues to the Site Manager for logging and potentially further investigation and not to undertake tasks in a manner which could potentially be seen as breaching the health & safety at work act and company policies and proceduresPersonal Attributes* Must be a team player who is willing to work to strict deadlinesIf you have cleaning experience, are from the Peterlee area and can start part-time cleaning assignment immediately then APPLY now.Gi Group Holdings Recruitment Limited group of companies includes Gi Recruitment Limited, Draefern Limited, Gi Group Recruitment Ltd, INTOO (UK) Limited, Marks Sattin (UK) Limited, TACK TMI UK Limited and Grafton Professional Staffing Limited.
