Job Description

Are you looking for a challenging role assembling articulated trucks for a globally recognised brandIf so you can grow your skills as we place you on an assignment into Caterpillar Articulated Trucks, Peterlee in a challenging and quality driven manufacturing environment. We currently have opportunities for Assembly Fittersto work in the Caterpillar factory in Peterlee, County Durham with an expected minimum contract length of 12+ months. With an excellent rate of pay and bonus structure in place, this is a first class international facility. This is an opportunity that you will not want to miss.Benefits:

Pay Rate and Working Hours:
  • 36.5 hours per week
  • £11.06 - £16.55 per hour day shift
  • £13.27 - £19.86 per hour afternoon shift
  • £14.93 - £22.34 per hour night shift
  • £16.59 - £24.83 per hour overtime Monday to Saturday
  • £22.12 - £33.10 per hour overtime Sundays
Days:
  • Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:00, Friday 08:00 - 12:30
Back shift:
  • Monday - Thursday 16:00 - 00:00, Friday 12:30 - 17:00
Night shift:
  • Monday - Thursday 00:00 - 08:00, Friday 17:00 - 21:30
Responsibilities:
  • Work under own initiative and as part of a team
  • Have the ability to work in a continuous improvement working environment
  • Be accustomed to modern practises eg. Following standard working procedures
  • Some manual lifting
  • Adhere to H&S and PPE requirements
Requirements:
  • Previous experience use of Air Tools
  • Previous experience use of Torque Wrenches
  • Experience in 5S
  • Previous experience in an Assembly environment
