Job Description

Yard Person - Site Co-Ordinator

We are working within one of the countrys largest car dealerships who require a responsible and dedicated professional to join their growing team as a Yard Person / Driving Co-ordinator at their busy site.You will help coordinate regular vehicle deliveries throughout the day, some days they will receive 20 transporters full of cars!This is a Full-Time permanent position where you will organise the site ensuring every car leaving or entering the site is put in the correct location with the correct documentation.Multiple Shifts available: 6.30am-3.30pm or 7.30am-4.30pm Monday to Friday (42.5hours a week) OR Back Shift 3pm-1am Mon-Thurs + 3pm to 8pm on a Friday. (42.5 hours per week)Role Responsibilities
  • The organisation of drivers to collect/drop off cars to correct locations within the group
  • Ensuring cars are parked neatly to maximise the number of cars in the space available
  • Directing colleagues and customers to park their vehicles in the correct area to maintain accessibility to the site at all times
  • Maintaining stock levels
  • Basic vehicle checks for new stock
  • Checking Paperwork of new stock to ensure the correct vehicle is delivered
  • Instructing staff to deliver cars within the specified timeframe.
Candidate Requirements
  • Full UK Driving Licence with less than 6 Points
  • You must be a confident driver
  • Good organisational skills
  • Hardworking and Dedicated
  • Good Time management skills and ability to prioritise
  • A natural problem solver
Pay
  • £24,000 Day shift
  • £26,400 Back Shift
