Water Resources Environmental PlannerCirca £36000 - £43,000 dependent on skills & experience Permanent Location: Hybrid working, your office base will be either Peterborough, Cambridge or HuntingdonFull time, 37 hours per weekYou will be joining at a critical time for our regulatory Water Resources Management Plan (WRMP24). This strategic plan demonstrates how a sustainable and secure supply of clean drinking water will be maintained for our customers over the next twenty-fiveyears. In our WRMP24 we also demonstrate our long-term vision for environmental protection and improvement. As our Environmental Planner, you will be instrumental in supporting the delivery of this.Your role will be to project manage and support the delivery of environmental assessments such as SEA, HRA, WFD and Natural Capital, ensuring a consistency with assessments being undertaken by Water Resources East for their Regional Plan. You will also leadon our Drought Plan Environmental Assessments, as well as implementing any monitoring or further assessments needed.You will also help to shape the environmental destination for the region, ensuring a two-way interaction between regional and local water resource planning. Working with our Water Resources Environment team you will turn this destination into AMP8 investigationsthat will further our knowledge of the specifics of each environment.. A significant proportion of your time will be on adaptive planning projects, where we are looking to develop our environmental understanding of supply-side options.As a valued employee, youll be entitled to:
