Its our intention to dual train and invest in our people as we work together to provide a first class service set in a professional modern and happy workplace.We are currently looking for a Logistics Warehouse Operator to conduct logistic warehouse activities in support of the AWS Logistic network. Based at the Central Distribution Centre (CDC) this role requires the holder to conduct delivery receipts, storageof stock, internal movement of stock and onwards dispatch of deliveries to the logistic network.All stock transactions will be conducted on SAP with the physical movement being completed by the operation of various types of manual handling equipment.The warehouse operates two shift patterns; this position will work from 3.30pm - 11.30pm, Monday - Friday.What will you be doing

• Conduct activities and processes within the AWS Central Distribution Centre
• Team member in one of two logistic teams operating in either an early or late daily work pattern
• Conduct vehicle off load and storage activities
• Conduct load building activities forming part of logistic outbound processes.
• Use of handheld computers in order to manage stock flow and its accountability
• Use of Manual Handling Equipment
• Conduct general warehouse activities and tasks as required
• Conduct stock taking and assurance checks as directed within the warehouse
• Support to the logistic network during incident management procedures from within the CDC.
• Take on periods of 24hr standby callout for emergency support incidents
• Operate Forklift Counterbalance Trucks in a safe manner and in accordance with AWS procedures.
• Operate Reach Trucks in a safe manner and in accordance with AWS procedures.

What does it take to be a Logistics Warehouse Operator

• Logistic warehouse operations experience
• Existing Reach Truck qualification preferred
• Good verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a small team environment
• Adaptability to deal with unique and unexpected situations
• Problem solving ability to deal with operational challenges within the warehouse
